Mile High on Lifetime Channel

Postby markusher » Sun Nov 26, 2006 10:11 pm

So I was thinking, could we find out the status of Lifetime's potential remaking of Mile High? I wrote an email myself to Lifetime about a week ago asking them about this and so far no reply. Maybe if as many of us as possible contacted Lifetime they would know that a significant potential fan base existed for a new version of the show. Even to the UK folks - who you could argue wouldn't be interested because Lifetime is a US channel - I would say that perhaps eventually the US version would make it's way over to the UK at some point. Kind of like us returning the favor for the original UK version which made it's way over here. Anyway, I think the more of us contact Lifetime the better since surely that will increase the chances of a new MH being made.

P.S. We could also make sure that they know that arguably the most popular character in MH - Will - was played by an actor who just happens to live in the US (in LA). Maybe the new Lifetime show is based at least initially around Will who has moved the the US in the show.

I'm with you. I loved this show.
It was my silly little way of escaping the world around me.
My family would go to bed on Sundays and I would stay up and watch it after recording it.... my wife always thought it was a nasty, dirty overly provocative, adverse to protestantism show... and, I would laugh and say, "yes, and I LOVE IT!" :)

Tell me how I can help your cause. I'd LOVE to see it come back...and stay around for a while...I always htought it was too short a run. :(

My husband and I were just talking about this last night. We loved the UK version of Mile High and wondered if an American version would even come close. It just wouldn't be the same without our beloved characters (and I could not imagine American actors in the spots of my favorites). I would be interesting though!
